Crystalizations Systems, Inc. (CSI) has done it again, changing the way museums transport their precious cargo.  The company  introduced its latest innovation in moving painting storage products, the CSI Transporter* line. The systems safely and efficiently expedite the moving of collections and exhibitions from room to room, gallery to gallery and location to location.

Designed and engineered for instant use, the Transporter 101 and Transporter 201 arrive fully assembled at museums, private collections, conservation labs and historic houses, and roll easily and safely into and out of box trucks.

The systems demonstrate superior maneuverability even in narrow or close confines with lockable swivel casters and sturdy guide handles. Built for the height of a standard 7-foot doorway the Transporter 101 and Transporter 201 areideal formoving and storing masterpieces for future generations. Excellent visibility of stored artwork, rolled textiles or objects is assured with optically transparent Lexan polycarbonate panels on the system’s top, bottom, back and sides, adding an additional level of protection and security.

An innovative, aerospace-inspired front wheel landinggear automatically extends and locks in place to support each moving panel for its full extension and retraction. The landing gear and wheel automatically retract as the panel is pushed back into the system. Each moving panel is locked in its stored position, preventing movement to ensure safety.

The Transporter systems utilize archival marine-quality canvas doors for ready access to artwork and objects. As with all CSI systems, the Transporter 101 and 201 feature inert, non-outgassing aerospace aluminum construction and highly efficient, ergonomic design.
